Service Technician

Location: Hagerstown, Maryland, United States; work includes office-based administration and physical duties in field or production environments.

Salary: $51,400–$79,200 per year

What you will do

• Repair and maintain vehicles, access products, and other equipment accurately and efficiently.
• Read electrical and hydraulic schematics to complete repairs safely and correctly.
• Assist other technicians with equipment repairs and maintenance while following safety regulations.
• Support senior and lead technicians on complex repairs and develop advanced technical skills.
• Guide associate-level technicians and help maintain a clean, safe work area.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED and two or more years of relevant experience, previous Oshkosh contracting experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Valid driver's license.
• Ability to lift up to 35 pounds; field and floor work may require lifting up to 50 pounds, standing, climbing stairs, and working around varying temperatures or noise.
• Ability to troubleshoot, test, repair, and service lifts and other equipment.
• Strong verbal and written communication, attention to detail, adaptability, and understanding of safety regulations.

Nice to have

• Experience attending one or more ultra-boom schools.
• Experience as a Field Service Technician.
