Manager, PMO – Commercial Operations (Automotive)

Location: Charlotte, North Carolina, United States; based at the corporate headquarters with 4–5 days per week in the office. Regular in-person meetings, events, and occasional travel are required.

Salary: $120,000–$145,000 annual base salary, plus eligibility for an annual performance bonus.

What you will do

• Manage the Commercial Operations master project plan, governance, documentation, dependencies, and delivery of complex projects supporting retail readiness.
• Lead Commercial Operations readiness meetings, milestone planning, decision tracking, and executive-level reporting.
• Coordinate planning and forecasting across Customer Support, Training, Sales & Marketing, Digital Products, and Aftersales.
• Lead top-level budget and headcount planning, including coordination with functional leaders.
• Coordinate vendor and agency documentation, statements of work, purchase orders, and milestone-based payments with Finance and Procurement.
• Lead, coach, and develop the PMO team while advising leaders, escalating risks, and driving cross-functional workshops and pre-series coordination.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree.
• 10 years of experience in project management or an automotive environment, preferably in a project manager role.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Experience with organizational navigation, cross-functional collaboration, and internal partnership development.
• Experience building infrastructure, systems, and processes in a startup or greenfield environment.
• Strong knowledge of project management systems and tools, including Confluence and Jira.
