Location: Littleton, Colorado, United States; based at the Littleton site

Salary: $95,000–$120,000 USD per year, plus potential stock and cash incentives.

What you will do

  • Develop application software for RTOS and embedded Linux environments.
  • Build hardware drivers for IMUs, star trackers, reaction wheels, and other spacecraft sensors and actuators.
  • Develop comprehensive unit tests within a continuous integration framework.
  • Collaborate with hardware-in-the-loop, systems, and embedded systems engineers to verify functionality and validate requirements.
  • Review source code, uphold coding standards, and participate in PDR and CDR design reviews.
  • Support on-orbit and interplanetary flight operations.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in aerospace engineering, computer science, electrical engineering, or an equivalent technical discipline.
  • At least 2 years of applicable embedded software development experience.
  • Proficiency in C and C++.
  • Experience with RTOS or embedded Linux.
  • Active Secret security clearance or the ability to obtain and maintain one.
  • U.S. citizenship is required due to program requirements; U.S. work authorization and ITAR eligibility apply.

Nice to have

  • Active TS/SCI security clearance.
  • Rust programming experience.
  • Advanced degree.
  • Experience with CAN/CAN-FD, UDP/TCP, embedded systems, or autonomous vehicles operating in harsh environments.
