Account Manager (Facilities Management)

Location: San Diego, United States; onsite role with regular site visits

Salary: USD 75,000–80,000 per year

What you will do

• Lead revenue growth, profitability, and operational performance for assigned accounts.
• Manage client relationships and deliver commercial janitorial services for government and public sector contracts.
• Lead, mentor, recruit, onboard, and train onsite teams.
• Plan resources, schedules, and workforce deployment.
• Conduct site visits and quality audits to ensure service, safety, and compliance standards.
• Identify new business opportunities and drive client satisfaction and account retention.

Requirements

• At least 2 years of management experience leading teams in facility services or a related field.
• Experience recruiting, training, retaining, and managing employee performance, including progressive discipline.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office 365, other software applications, and handheld computer technology.
• Strong professional communication and client relationship skills.
• Familiarity with health, safety, and environmental management systems.
• A clear criminal record check is required.
