Data Analyst and Reporting Tools Developer (Finance)

Location: Flexible hybrid schedule; work authorization in Canada is required. The role is based at 483 Bay Street in Toronto until approximately late 2026, then at the new Mississauga office at 3 Robert Speck Parkway.

Salary: Total annual cash compensation of $105,000–$152,000 CAD, including base salary and target bonus.

What you will do

• Research reporting and business data needs, provide status updates, and document reporting tools and procedures.
• Design and deploy reporting databases and applications using relational databases and flat-file sources.
• Build automation tools that streamline processes for business and finance users.
• Test data integrity and application performance.
• Maintain and re-engineer Business Intelligence, Access, and Excel-based reports.
• Cleanse and manipulate data from multiple disparate sources.

Requirements

• Current authorization to work in Canada is required.
• University degree in computer science, finance, or equivalent experience.
• At least 4 years of experience with relational or multidimensional databases and SQL coding.
• Experience with complex business analysis, data-flow analysis, and data modeling.
• Strong VBA, Access, and Excel skills.
• Strong analytical, communication, problem-solving, project management, and process re-engineering skills.

Nice to have

• Experience in the financial services industry.
• Experience with Business Objects, OBIEE, Power BI, Snowflake, or Tableau.
