Senior Consultant, Data Quality (Fintech)

Location: Toronto, ON; hybrid work with 1–3 days per week on-site

What you will do

• Own projects supporting monthly and quarterly retail credit risk reporting for internal partner teams and regulators.
• Develop detailed requirements for robust reporting and analytical solutions across Product, Finance, Risk, and Technology.
• Monitor data quality, raise and resolve data quality issues, and support production reporting and project delivery.
• Analyze retail risk data for ingestion, measurement, monitoring, and reporting to regulators and senior management.
• Translate business requirements into test cases and design and manage end-to-end testing activities.
• Lead project delivery, resolve obstacles, communicate status, and escalate risks when necessary.

Requirements

• Experience delivering data warehousing and reporting projects, including data analysis, SQL, data mapping, and BI tools such as Cognos, Tableau, or Power BI.
• Knowledge of retail credit risk reporting, adjudication, and/or retail products.
• Experience with requirements analysis, user acceptance testing, data integration, and delivery management.
• Degree in Business, Finance, Risk, or a related field.
• Strong analytical thinking, critical thinking, communication, prioritization, and problem-solving skills.
• Must be legally eligible to work at the specified location and hold a valid work or study permit where applicable.
