Information Systems Security Officer (ISSO) III (Cybersecurity)

Location: Onsite in San Antonio, Texas, United States. U.S. citizenship is required. Travel required: 10–25%.

Salary: $97,968–$127,880 per year.

What you will do

• Maintain the operational security posture of information systems in coordination with the ISSM and ISO.
• Prepare, review, and update authorization packages and related security documentation.
• Coordinate hardware, software, and firmware changes, assess their security impact, and support configuration management across authorization boundaries.
• Conduct continuous monitoring, periodic compliance reviews, self-inspections, audit-record reviews, and vulnerability identification.
• Support physical and environmental protection, personnel security, incident handling, security training, and system recovery activities.
• Assist Department of Defense, national agency, and contractor organizations with assessment and authorization efforts.

Requirements

• 5+ years of related experience, including 2+ years of SAP experience.
• Prior experience as a system administrator, network administrator, or ISSO.
• Bachelor’s degree in a related area, or an associate degree plus two years of experience, or equivalent experience.
• TS/SCI clearance required to start; ability to attain TS/SCI with CI polygraph.
• Information Assurance Technician Level II or Information Assurance Manager II certification required within six months of hire.
• U.S. citizenship required; onsite work in San Antonio, Texas, and 10–25% travel are required.
