Information System Security Officer, Intermediate (ISSO) (Cybersecurity)

Salary: $100,000–$115,000 per year, paid weekly

What you will do

• Implement and maintain security controls in accordance with Risk Management Framework requirements.
• Perform security scans, vulnerability assessments, and continuous monitoring of assigned systems.
• Review security alerts and system logs, track vulnerabilities, and coordinate corrective actions.
• Maintain cybersecurity documentation, system artifacts, and audit records.
• Support annual security reviews, control assessments, audits, incident response, and reporting.
• Coordinate compliance activities with system owners, administrators, and the Information System Security Manager.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Cybersecurity, Information Assurance, Information Technology, or a related discipline.
• 3–5 years of cybersecurity or information assurance experience.
• Knowledge of RMF, NIST 800-53, and STIG implementation.
• Active Secret clearance required.
• DoD 8140/8570 IAT Level II certification or equivalent required.
