Information System Security Manager, Intermediate (ISSM)

Location: Wright-Patterson AFB, Ohio, USA

Salary: $125,000–$135,000 per year, paid weekly

What you will do

• Manage cybersecurity operations for assigned information systems supporting museum and mission operations.
• Oversee Risk Management Framework activities throughout the system lifecycle.
• Maintain system security plans, plans of action and milestones, assessment artifacts, and other security documentation.
• Coordinate ATO, IATT, and broader security authorization activities.
• Lead vulnerability management, remediation, continuous monitoring, security reviews, audits, inspections, and risk assessments.
• Ensure incident response procedures are followed and documented, provide guidance to technical personnel, and brief leadership on security posture and risks.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Cybersecurity, Computer Science, or a related field.
• 5–8 years of cybersecurity experience.
• Experience supporting RMF and DoD cybersecurity requirements.
• Active Secret clearance or the ability to obtain one.
• DoD 8140/8570 IAM Level II certification or equivalent.

• CISSP, CAP, CISM, or Security+ certification.
