Program Security Manager (Space)

Location: Colorado Springs, Colorado, at or supporting Peterson Space Force Base; daily onsite work in an industrial environment and temporary duty in austere locations are required.

Salary: $120,000–$150,000 per year

What you will do

• Provide multidisciplinary physical, information, personnel, collateral, SCI, and SAP security support.
• Prepare and review Program Access Requests, SAP nomination questionnaires, visit certifications, indoctrination agreements, and classified correspondence.
• Perform access control, visitor escort, courier, classified material destruction, media accountability, and facility security duties.
• Conduct self-inspections, support compliance inspections, identify discrepancies, and report security incidents.
• Maintain personnel, facility, document accountability, access, suspense, and security databases, including JPAS, JADE, and SIMS.
• Act as the Government SAP Security Officer when required and provide leadership, mentoring, and quality assurance to team members.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree and 10–12 years of total experience, including 5–7 years supporting SCI or SAP programs.
• Active Top Secret clearance, SSBI current within the last six years, and eligibility for SCI and SAP access are required.
• Willingness to submit to a Counterintelligence polygraph and complete required SAPNP, SIMS, JPAS, and JADE training within six months.
• Working knowledge of Windows, Word, PowerPoint, Excel, security policies, ICDs, JAFANs, DoD manuals, and related guidance.
• Ability to interact with DoD, military, civilian, and industry personnel, work with minimal supervision, lift 50 pounds, and perform physical duties in austere environments.
• Willingness to travel within the organizational area of responsibility, potentially extensively by air and ground transportation, is required.

Nice to have

• At least three years of relevant SAP program experience.
