Endocrinology Physician (Obesity Medicine)

Salary: $94,500–$112,500 USD base annual salary

What you will do

• Provide telemedicine care for obesity and comprehensive diabetes management, including insulin titration, CGMs, insulin pumps, and complex insulin regimens.
• Manage a patient panel and collaborate with Endocrine APPs and Registered Dietitians, including supervision when needed.
• Review charts and conduct initial and follow-up visits for patients with CKD, ESRD, CAD, and other complex comorbidities.
• Develop advanced treatment plans and provide medical management support for escalated endocrinology cases.
• Prescribe non-controlled obesity and diabetes medications and ensure adherence to clinical documentation, protocols, and treatment pathways.
• Mentor colleagues, support continuing education, participate in quality improvement, and contribute to team-based care initiatives.

Requirements

• MD or DO degree with current ABIM board certification in Endocrinology.
• Active and unrestricted medical license in at least one US state, with eligibility to obtain additional state licenses.
• Current Medicare opt-in status.
• Clinical experience in obesity medicine or endocrinology, or completion of an accredited Endocrinology or Obesity Medicine fellowship.
• Expertise in advanced diabetes management, including CGMs, insulin pumps, pharmacotherapy, and complex comorbidities such as CKD, ESRD, and cardiovascular disease.
• Experience collaborating with APPs, medical residents, or trainees, with strong communication and patient-centered care skills.

Nice to have

• ABOM certification.
• Experience providing synchronous telehealth care.
• Medical fluency in Spanish.
• IMLC participation.
