Optical Processing Technician

Location: Wilton, CT, US (Onsite)

What you will do

• Fabricate high-precision optical components using CNC milling, grinding, and polishing equipment.
• Operate deposition chambers to coat optics and perform precise alignment and assembly.
• Inspect components using advanced metrology equipment to ensure dimensional and surface quality.
• Maintain area, tooling, and equipment according to 5S standards.
• Collaborate with production engineering and management to improve operational efficiency.
• Identify and escalate safety, quality, or process concerns.

Requirements

• Must be work authorized in the United States without the need for employer sponsorship.
• Must be able to work a compressed 12-hour shift schedule (Front End Days: Sun-Wed).
• High school diploma or GED required; Associate degree in a vocational trade preferred.
• Ability to work in a clean room environment wearing required protective gear.
• Ability to lift and move up to 35 pounds and work around lasers, chemicals, and heavy machinery.
• Experience in a manufacturing facility or vocational certification is preferred.
