TL;DR
IOP Counselor - LMSW, LADAC II, LPC, LCSW (Addiction Treatment): Providing admissions, evidence-based counseling, case management, crisis support, and clinical documentation for an intensive outpatient opioid addiction treatment program with an accent on ASAM Level 2.1 assessments, patient engagement, and regulatory compliance. Focus on delivering Matrix Model, Seeking Safety, and CBT programming, developing individualized interventions, and coordinating care with clinical, billing, and community referral teams.

Location: On-site in Memphis, Tennessee, USA

hirify.global operates a national network of Joint Commission-accredited treatment centers focused on opioid addiction treatment through IOP, OTP, and OBOT programs.

What you will do

  • Serve as an ambassador for the Intensive Outpatient Program and support program operations, growth, design, and implementation.
  • Conduct admissions and eligibility reviews using ASAM Level 2.1 criteria, including intake, orientation, readmission, and transitional counseling.
  • Provide evidence-based counseling, targeted case management, crisis support, and individualized interventions for patients with substance use disorders.
  • Deliver Matrix Model, Seeking Safety, and CBT curriculum for at least 3 hours per day, 4 days per week, and conduct individual counseling sessions.
  • Prepare compliant assessments, treatment plans, and patient documentation while coordinating with billing, RCM, clinical, and care teams.
  • Build relationships with referral partners, community organizations, and healthcare providers through outreach and program awareness activities.

Requirements

  • Must hold LPC, LADAC I, LADAC II, LCSW, or LMSW licensure.
  • If not fully licensed, enrollment in or willingness to begin a formal licensure course of study is required at the time of hire.
  • Knowledge of substance use disorders, treatment planning, social services, and rehabilitation support.
  • Strong verbal and written communication, interpersonal, customer service, judgment, and crisis-response skills.
  • Ability to manage confidential matters and multiple tasks in a high-stress medical office environment.
  • Ability to work on-site and perform prolonged sitting and computer-based documentation, with occasional bending, stooping, and stretching.
