Psychiatrist - Child & Adolescent - 1099 Contractor (Virtual) - North Carolina

What you will do

• Conduct live 60-minute video intake appointments and regular virtual follow-ups.
• Perform comprehensive psychiatric evaluations, formulate diagnoses, and create individualized treatment plans.
• Provide evidence-based medication management for conditions including anxiety, depression, ADHD, and mood disorders.
• Use a family-centered approach by educating families and involving them in care planning.
• Collaborate with clinicians through team meetings, care planning, consultations, and referrals to therapy and coaching services.
• Maintain timely clinical documentation, assess outcomes with data, and follow regulatory and quality standards.

Requirements

• Board-certified or board-eligible Child and Adolescent Psychiatrist with an active license in at least one state.
• Experience working with children, adolescents, and young adults, including demonstrated family engagement skills.
• Computer and live video tools literacy, including platforms such as Zoom, Google Meet, DoxyMe, or Skype.
• Familiarity with JCAHO guidelines and practice within an accredited framework.
• Telehealth and teletherapy experience is preferred but not required.
