Senior Product Manager, Mission Solutions (Defense & Intelligence)

Location: Hybrid in San Francisco, CA or Arlington, VA, with three office days per week

Salary: $142,800–$178,500 USD base salary annually, plus potential short-term and long-term incentives.

hirify.global designs, builds, and operates a large constellation of imaging satellites and delivers satellite-derived data through a cloud-based platform for commercial, environmental, humanitarian, and defense applications.

What you will do

• Partner with Forward Deployed Engineers to solve field product challenges and turn recurring customer-specific patterns into reusable GMS/MDA and core platform capabilities.
• Prioritize mission requirements for inclusion in the shared platform versus one-off customer solutions.
• Track delivery objectives, including image-to-insight speed and the time required to bring new sites online.
• Consolidate input from field engineering, sales, and product management into a prioritized Defense & Intelligence roadmap.
• Evolve Global Monitoring Service and Maritime Domain Awareness capabilities into packaged offerings aligned with defense procurement and operating models.

Requirements

• 6+ years of technical product management experience bridging core platform teams with field engineering or solutions engineering teams.
• Understanding of geospatial data platforms, cloud architectures, APIs, extension layers, and analytics/ML pipelines.
• Experience distinguishing generalizable platform capabilities from one-off customizations and prioritizing competing technical and operational demands.
• Background in geospatial intelligence, satellite tasking or monitoring, remote sensing, and defense technology.
• Ability to communicate technical trade-offs and mission impact to engineers and executives while managing multiple priorities independently.
• Ability to access applicable export-controlled information without requiring additional export licensing.

Nice to have

• Experience scaling vertical product layers on shared platform infrastructure.
• Active or prior U.S. Security Clearance, such as Secret or TS/SCI.
• Operational experience within or supporting the U.S. Defense & Intelligence Community.
