Senior Recruiter (Fintech)

Location: Hybrid in New York, NY or San Francisco, CA. Relocation expense coverage to NYC or SF may be available if needed.

Salary: $165,000–$220,000 annual target base salary for SF/NY, plus equity. Final compensation depends on location and hiring level.

What you will do

• Own full-cycle recruiting across Recruiting, Risk, and other G&A functions from intake and market mapping through offer and close.
• Develop functional expertise and identify signals of exceptional talent beyond titles, companies, and tenure.
• Partner with hiring leaders to define hiring theses, calibrate hiring standards, and create search strategies and interview plans.
• Build proactive pipelines through market research, targeted sourcing, referrals, and engagement with passive candidates.
• Advise leaders using market intelligence, recruiting data, and candidate feedback to improve hiring decisions.
• Run high-velocity processes, deliver a thoughtful candidate experience, and lead closing strategies for competitive hires.

Requirements

• 5+ years of full-cycle recruiting experience with significant ownership of G&A, corporate, or specialized business-function searches.
• Experience recruiting for Risk, Compliance, Legal, Finance, People, or Recruiting functions.
• Experience independently leading complex or senior-level searches from scoping through accepted offer.
• Strong talent judgment, research instincts, communication, and ability to advise senior leaders.
• Strong execution and closing skills, including ATS and funnel discipline, competing offers, sensitive searches, and AI-enabled recruiting workflows.

Nice to have

• Experience supporting multiple G&A functions in a high-growth technology company.
• Familiarity with fintech, financial services, SaaS, or other regulated-industry talent markets.
• Experience improving interview architecture, scorecards, market maps, or recruiting processes.
• Experience developing AI-enabled recruiting workflows adopted beyond individual searches.
