Software Engineer (AI)

Build and maintain AI infrastructure, tools, and customer-facing applications for a customer organization.

What you will do

• Develop high-quality AI tools and applications for workforce use.
• Ensure high availability, reliability, performance, and security of AI tools.
• Modify free and open-source software to support customer use cases.
• Engage with customers to elicit requirements and develop solutions.
• Maintain customer-facing infrastructure and applications to ensure reliable services.

Requirements

• Top Secret/SCI clearance with Full Scope Poly is required.
• At least 3 years of experience, plus a bachelor's degree in a technical discipline or 4 additional years of experience in place of the degree.
• Proficiency with Python or another object-oriented programming language.
• Experience using LLMs as part of a code solution workflow.
• Familiarity with UI/UX principles.
• Ability to learn new technologies quickly and communicate effectively.

Nice to have

• Experience with LLM UI open-source software such as OpenWebUI.
• Familiarity with AWS or other cloud service providers.
• Experience with Kubernetes, Helm, Argo CD, or other CI/CD frameworks.
• Experience supporting production software using SRE best practices.
• Experience with Docker and containerization.

• Salary range of $163,000–$178,000 per year.
• Additional $41,000–$44,000 in immediately vested company 401(k) contributions.
