Production Supervisor (Manufacturing)

What you will do

• Lead and support production employees throughout the workday while communicating daily goals, priorities, and expectations.
• Monitor production progress, adjust manpower and workflow, and help keep work on schedule.
• Troubleshoot production, equipment, and employee issues and communicate significant concerns to management.
• Monitor quality, enforce safety, PPE, housekeeping, LOTO, and machine-audit requirements.
• Train and cross-train employees, provide feedback, conduct reviews, and support employee development.
• Identify opportunities to improve efficiency, reduce waste, and strengthen production processes.

Requirements

• Post-high-school education.
• 3–5 years of manufacturing experience and 1–3 years of people-management experience.
• Strong communication, organization, decision-making, problem-solving, and accountability skills.
• Knowledge of the Precise Plant Quality Program, quality troubleshooting, standard work instructions, and preventive maintenance.
• Knowledge of continuous-improvement principles, including 5S and TPM, plus technical knowledge of machinery and equipment.
• Successful completion of the forklift-driver licensing process.
