Manager, Financial Analysis - Small Commercial FP&A Northfield (Finance)

Location: Hartford, Connecticut, United States

Annual base salary: $89,800–$148,300, plus eligibility for performance-based cash incentive awards.

What you will do

• Prepare, evaluate, validate, and present financial and operational reports.
• Analyze business performance, trends, variances, data limitations, and gaps.
• Develop complex analyses supporting business strategy, forecasting, and planning.
• Present findings, observations, and recommendations to managers and cross-functional partners.
• Review competitor releases, SEC filings, and industry publications for strategic insights.
• Provide coaching, training, and mentoring, with potential responsibility for direct reports.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or Economics, or relevant advanced education or professional designation.
• At least three years of experience in finance, financial planning, accounting, or a related area.
• Experience with financial analysis concepts, accounting principles, and financial reporting processes.
• Strong communication, consultation, presentation, data analysis, and influencing skills.
• Ability to manage multiple projects, apply strategic judgment, and resolve issues.
• Experience with Microsoft Office and financial reporting software such as TM1, Essbase, or Hyperion.
