Senior Data Engineer (SQL/ETL)

Salary: $121,900–$140,000 annually

What you will do

• Design, develop, test, document, and deploy scalable big data architectures and applications.
• Build and optimize data delivery solutions, ETL pipelines, and data warehouse components.
• Automate manual processes and redesign infrastructure to improve scalability, reliability, efficiency, and data quality.
• Collaborate with software developers, database architects, analysts, data scientists, and functional teams on data initiatives.
• Troubleshoot data issues and perform testing and validation of data transformations.
• Support highly visible initiatives and perform duties outside normal work hours when business needs require.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field, or equivalent education and experience.
• 5–8 years of directly related experience.
• Experience with Agile SDLC methodology.
• Proficiency in SQL and T-SQL, with experience building ETL pipelines and data warehouses.
• Expertise in data modeling, database maintenance, monitoring, and performance tuning with SQL Server, MongoDB, or other NoSQL databases.
• Working knowledge of modern cloud computing technologies, strong analytical skills, and effective written and verbal communication.
