Systems Integration Engineer III (Aerospace & Defense)

Location: Lone Tree, Colorado, United States; hybrid environment with occasional travel, including CONUS/OCONUS field support.

Salary: $108,496.89–$149,183.22 per year.

What you will do

• Manage systems integration activities, requirements analysis, configuration management, and verification and validation.
• Integrate and troubleshoot C4ISR, air and missile defense, tactical data link, communications, sensor, and networked mission systems.
• Install, configure, test, and validate deployed field systems, prototype equipment, mission computers, radios, routers, switches, and payloads.
• Develop test plans, execute corrective actions, and resolve complex hardware, software, RF, digital, and network issues.
• Translate customer mission needs into technical solutions and recommended system configurations.
• Support customer deployments, exercises, operational missions, and operator and maintainer training.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Systems Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field.
• 6+ years of experience in systems integration or a related field.
• Advanced troubleshooting skills across electronic, digital, RF, and networked systems.
• Hands-on experience with tactical radios, communication systems, wireless networks, C2 or sensor-integration systems, and mission computing hardware.
• Strong communication, technical writing, documentation, and customer-facing skills.
• U.S. citizenship and the ability to obtain and maintain an active Top Secret U.S. security clearance are required.

Nice to have

• Army 140A AMD Systems Integrator or comparable joint AMD, C2, or TDL experience.
• Experience with radar integration, sensor fusion, IBCS-like architectures, and mission-system prototyping.
• Familiarity with aerospace and defense standards, military CONOPS, and sustainment processes.
• Security+, Network+, RF, vehicle integration, field-service engineering, military, or government experience.
• Leadership experience in technical, operational, or military roles.
