Salary: $140,200–$167,000 per year, based on qualifications and experience.

What you will do
- Support threat-informed mission engineering, including end-to-end mission thread analysis, resiliency assessments, and deployment analysis.
- Develop and execute modeling and simulation cases with STK, AFSIM, Python, MATLAB, or equivalent tools to assess system performance, coverage, and timelines.
- Translate foreign space and counterspace intelligence into technical requirements, measures of performance and effectiveness, and architecture risk assessments.
- Coordinate analysis with customer mission centers, Service components, USSF/SSC, the Intelligence Community, and Combatant Commands.
- Support developmental and operational test and evaluation planning, including test design, data sufficiency, and evaluation criteria.
- Produce technical assessments, reports, briefings, and SETA deliverables across requirements, architecture, integration, verification, validation, and configuration management.
Requirements
- 5–10 years of experience in space, defense, or Intelligence Community analysis or systems engineering.
- Experience with space threat analysis or mission and architecture assessments in an IC or DoD environment.
- Demonstrated experience with space mission modeling and simulation tools such as STK or AFSIM.
- Working knowledge of space and ground architectures and their mission, ground, and user segments.
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering, physics, mathematics, computer science, or a related technical field.
- U.S. citizenship and an active TS/SCI security clearance with CI Poly are required.
Nice to have
- Master’s degree in engineering, physics, applied mathematics, operations research, or a related discipline.
- Experience with MBSE, SysML/UML, digital engineering environments, Python/MATLAB toolchains, or Monte Carlo methods.
- Familiarity with Intelligence Community and Combatant Command organizations, including NRO, NSA, NGA, and USSPACECOM.
