Transportation Delivery Operations Supervisor (Logistics)

Location: Charlotte, North Carolina, United States. 1st shift, Monday–Friday; shift hours may flex based on business needs.

What you will do

• Lead the delivery operations team to ensure orders are delivered completely and on time.
• Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly operating plans and adjust headcount to meet objectives.
• Partner with senior management to achieve productivity, accuracy, budget, and facility performance goals.
• Recommend improvements to department processes and procedures.
• Participate in hiring, training, coaching, and driver check rides.
• Use operational reports to evaluate performance and promote safe work practices.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED.
• 3+ years of transportation experience and working knowledge of transportation systems, processes, productivity standards, and technology.
• Valid driver’s license with a safe driving record and continued eligibility to operate a commercial motor vehicle.
• Ability to pass a DOT physical and drug screen where legally permissible and obtain a 6-month DOT medical card.
• Ability to lift, lower, push, pull, or carry products weighing up to 70 pounds and be at least 21 years old.
• Basic English verbal and written communication skills required.
