Assistant Manager/Supervisor - Transportation Pricing

What you will do

• Lead country and sub-regional transportation pricing teams to achieve pricing, revenue, and service objectives.
• Develop pricing strategies and improve pricing processes, including centralization initiatives.
• Manage RFQs, tenders, bids, and spot quotations, ensuring accurate, competitive, and timely responses.
• Analyze market trends, carrier rates, procurement practices, pricing performance, and win rates.
• Maintain pricing strategy templates, tariffs, quotation databases, and pricing records.
• Coordinate with carriers, service providers, customers, sales, customer service, and operations stakeholders.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Transportation, or a related field.
• 5–8 years of experience in transportation pricing, freight forwarding, logistics, or supply chain management.
• Experience managing RFQs, tenders, bids, spot quotations, and transportation pricing activities.
• Strong knowledge of transportation pricing, tariffs, carrier procurement, market trends, and regulatory requirements.
• Leadership, analytical, negotiation, problem-solving, decision-making, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
• Fluent English, written and spoken, is required. Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and pricing management tools is also required.
