System Engineer 2 (Linux/Windows/RF/SIGINT)

Location: Ft. Meade, Maryland, United States; Workplace: On-site. United States citizenship and an active TS/SCI clearance with an agency-appropriate polygraph are required.

Salary: $45.61–$119.86 per hour

What you will do

• Administer, configure, maintain, and troubleshoot Linux and Windows systems.
• Configure and support network infrastructure, RF system networks, connectivity, and end-to-end data flow.
• Support RF/SIGINT collection systems, including DRT, NiFi, ONEROOF, DARKQUEST, FORNSAT, and Tactical SIGINT technologies.
• Develop system and network architectures, technical requirements, interfaces, and design solutions.
• Lead or support integration, testing, verification, and technical problem resolution across hardware and software environments.
• Create and maintain engineering plans, architecture and design documents, requirements specifications, interface control documents, and test plans.

Requirements

• TS/SCI clearance with an agency-appropriate polygraph.
• United States citizenship.
• Fourteen years of systems engineering experience on programs and contracts of similar scope, type, and complexity.
• Bachelor’s degree in systems engineering, computer science, information systems, engineering science, engineering management, or a related discipline.
• Five additional years of systems engineering experience may substitute for a bachelor’s degree.
• Experience with Linux and Windows administration, network configuration and troubleshooting, and RF/SIGINT systems.
