IT Systems Engineer

Location: Onsite in Sunnyvale, California, United States. Active Secret clearance required.

Salary: $100,000–$190,000 USD per year.

What you will do

• Maintain efficient, secure, and reliable production and testing environments.
• Deploy, configure, harden, troubleshoot, and administer Linux/UNIX, Windows, and embedded hardware systems.
• Support disaster recovery using NetBackup and Veeam.
• Install, secure, and monitor NetApp and other NAS/SAN storage solutions.
• Apply STIGs, manage patches and upgrades, perform trusted downloads, and maintain RMF-based compliance.
• Execute controlled changes, maintain asset inventories, provide onsite operational support, and coordinate issue resolution with functional teams.

Requirements

• Active Secret security clearance.
• Bachelor’s degree and 5+ years of relevant experience.
• Current Security+ certification.
• Experience with Linux/UNIX, Windows, embedded hardware, storage systems, and disaster recovery.
• Availability for onsite day-shift business hours and after-hours support when critical operations require it.
