System/Network Administrator - Active TS/SCI Required

Location: On-site in Carlsbad, California; US citizenship required

Salary: $121,000–$191,000 annually. For specific locations in San Jose, the San Francisco Bay Area, and the New York City metropolitan area: $150,000–$225,000 annually.

What you will do

• Manage the daily configuration and operation of IT systems and infrastructure.
• Provide technical and user support for standalone, LAN, WAN, and virtualized systems.
• Administer user accounts, password resets, system configuration, hardware and software records, backups, and patch management.
• Support configuration management, virus updates, and documentation required for classified systems.
• Participate in network contamination cleanup and responses to potential computer security incidents.
• Provide technical security information and support remote cleared facilities; may provide work leadership to junior employees.

Requirements

• Active Top Secret security clearance with SCI eligibility and willingness to take a CI polygraph.
• US citizenship and ability to work from the Carlsbad office are required.
• 6+ years of experience with Windows 10/11 and Windows Server 2016/2019/2022, Solaris, Linux, Active Directory, Group Policy, TCP/IP, DNS, and DHCP.
• Experience integrating Windows and Linux/UNIX systems, administering accounts, maintaining file systems, and using backup applications.
• 2+ years of experience designing, implementing, and administering virtual solutions, plus strong knowledge of backup and patch management software.
• 2+ years in a DoD or industrial security program, with knowledge of ICD 503, JSIG, and the DoD RMF process; DoD 8570.1 or DoD 8140.01 certification is required or must be obtained within six months.

Nice to have

• Experience managing routers and switches; Cisco certifications are a plus.
• Experience managing Microsoft Exchange Server.
• Experience with vulnerability and compliance scanning tools such as Nessus, SCAP, and ACAS.
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
