Tool Crib Attendant, Weekend Shift (Automotive)

Location: On-site work at plant locations, including coverage for both plants and different shifts.

What you will do

• Maintain indirect-material stock levels through MRP replenishment and maximum-stock-level management.
• Perform cycle counts, inventory audits, and barcode labeling to improve inventory accuracy and scanning.
• Investigate stockouts, perform root-cause analysis, and support corrective actions.
• Process mail shipments and coordinate spare-part and tool repairs with vendors, including shipping arrangements.
• Identify supplier cost savings, obsolete inventory resolutions, and continuous improvement projects.
• Resolve invoices with Accounts Payable and collaborate daily with Maintenance, Facilities, Operations, and Engineering.

Requirements

• Manufacturing experience is preferred.
• SAP MRP experience is preferred.
• An associate degree is preferred.
• Ability to follow company, departmental, and Environmental, Health and Safety procedures.
• Ability to work weekend shifts, cover both plant locations, and work different shifts when needed.
