Data Analyst, Investment Professional

Location: Columbus, Ohio — One hirify.global Plaza; must reside within 35 miles. Hybrid schedule with 2 days in the office and 3 days remote.

Salary: $119,000–$199,000 annually.

What you will do

• Design curated analytical data structures, shared business logic, dimensions, and reusable data products for investment analytics.
• Provide governed data access through SQL, APIs, and related interfaces for quantitative analysts, portfolio managers, and reporting teams.
• Build and maintain semantic layers supporting front-office dashboards, quantitative tools, research workflows, and BI reporting.
• Monitor data quality, consistency, documentation, lineage, and reporting performance across enterprise data sources.
• Support governed AI and agentic workflows through structured inputs and outputs, data persistence, automation, and human review.
• Collaborate with Technology and platform teams on Snowflake, Databricks, Aladdin, version control, testing, and enterprise architecture.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, information systems, data analytics, mathematics, engineering, or a related field preferred.
• Typically 8 or more years of experience building analytical data, business intelligence, or investment data environments.
• Advanced SQL and data-modeling skills, with hands-on experience using Snowflake and modern analytics environments such as Databricks.
• Practical Python skills for data engineering and analytics, including pandas, PySpark, or similar tools.
• Experience designing semantic layers and reusable datasets for BI or quantitative use cases, including Power BI or Tableau.
• Must reside within 35 miles of Columbus, Ohio; the role does not qualify for employer-sponsored work authorization and hirify.global does not participate in the STEM OPT extension program.

Nice to have

• Experience in financial services, asset management, insurance, or capital markets.
• Advanced degree or relevant certifications.
• Experience with AI-enabled analytics, governed automation, investment data structures, and enterprise data governance.
