Machine Operator - 12hr Rotating Swing Shifts (AM/PM) (Manufacturing)

Location: Forest Park, GA, USA — onsite at the West Facility. Work consists of rotating 12-hour day and night shifts: 7:00 AM–7:00 PM and 7:00 PM–7:00 AM, with possible overtime, weekend, and off-shift work during high-demand periods.

Starting pay: $24.63 per hour, plus shift differentials for overnight hours and opportunities to advance through a skill-based pay system.

What you will do

• Operate production-line machinery and maintain accurate setup and run-time parameters.
• Perform equipment and line changeovers according to established procedures and safety standards.
• Troubleshoot and repair mechanical malfunctions, product jams, and equipment failures.
• Identify quality issues and collaborate with relevant teams to maintain product standards.
• Maintain inventories of supplies and parts, order replacements, and document maintenance and repair work.
• Support improvement projects, equipment installations, required training, and safe operations in accordance with OSHA and hirify.global standards.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent required; vocational, technical, or mechanical coursework is preferred.
• At least 1–2 years of machine operator experience in a manufacturing environment preferred; 3+ years is highly preferred.
• Ability to troubleshoot equipment, identify root causes, and apply mechanical and technical skills.
• Knowledge of packaging equipment and processes, quality control principles, SOPs, GMPs, 5S, and WCM.
• Ability to read and interpret technical manuals and schematics, follow procedures, and collaborate with vendors and coworkers.
• Ability to work onsite in Forest Park, Georgia, on rotating 12-hour day and night shifts, including possible overtime and weekends.

Nice to have

• Experience in mechanics, maintenance, blow molding, or machine-shop work.
• Military or veteran experience.
