TL;DR

Focus on adjusting equipment parameters, identifying process abnormalities, performing measurements and maintenance, and maintaining safe, continuous production flow.

What you will do

  • Set up, operate, monitor, and maintain equipment used in intraocular lens production.
  • Monitor machine performance, product quality, and process conditions, taking corrective action within approved procedures.
  • Perform equipment checks, process tests, measurements, mathematical calculations, and parameter adjustments.
  • Complete production orders, equipment logs, charts, system transactions, and quality records.
  • Maintain clean, inspection-ready work areas and perform routine cleaning and basic preventive maintenance.
  • Handle PEG materials and waste, complete line clearance, and support continuous production flow.

Requirements

  • Technical certification from an accredited institution in electronics, electricity, refrigeration, mechanics, or a related discipline.
  • At least one year of general work experience with a technical certification; no prior experience is required with an associate degree in a technical discipline.
  • Ability to perform basic mathematical calculations and understand basic manufacturing data and statistics.
  • Basic computer skills for data entry, documentation, and manufacturing-system transactions.
  • Ability to follow procedures, specifications, production orders, and equipment instructions with strong attention to detail and safety.
  • Must be available for assigned shifts, including weekends and other nonstandard hours when required.

Nice to have

  • Manufacturing Operator or similar production experience.
  • Experience setting up equipment and adjusting parameters for cutting machines, microscopes, comparators, optical benches, or interferometers.
  • Associate degree in a technical discipline.
