Manufacturing Strategic Project Manager (Capital Projects)

Location: Alpharetta, Georgia, USA; hybrid role requiring three days per week in the Alpharetta office. Travel required 40–60% depending on project activity.

Salary: $131,200–$258,500 annually for Zone A; other U.S. salary zones range from $109,400–$215,500. The role is also eligible for participation in incentive plans.

What you will do

• Plan, lead, and complete medium- to large-sized capital projects and programs at manufacturing sites.
• Coordinate packaging, process, electrical, instrumentation, internal, and external engineering resources.
• Manage project scope, schedules, budgets, finances, risks, vendors, resources, and monthly reporting.
• Lead technology upgrades, product improvements, line extensions, and integrated manufacturing systems.
• Develop Community of Practice objectives, strategic plans, KPIs, standards, training, and knowledge content.
• Manage SAP solution backlogs, user stories, testing, showcases, adoption, documentation, and issue resolution.

Requirements

• Degree in civil, mechanical, or industrial engineering.
• 10+ years of experience in engineering and manufacturing operations management.
• Consumer packaged goods experience and 5+ years leading increasingly complex capital projects and budgets.
• At least 2 years of people management experience, including coaching and career development.
• Hands-on experience with SAP S/4HANA, SAP ECC, or SAP Fiori.
• Ability to work in a hybrid arrangement with three days in the Alpharetta office and travel 40–60%.
