Arils - Manufacturing Lead

Location: Del Rey, California, USA; onsite manufacturing environment

Base compensation: $21.00

hirify.global, through POM Wonderful, grows, packages, and markets pomegranates, pomegranate arils, juices, and teas in California’s Central Valley.

What you will do

• Oversee finished-goods palletizing, order completion, hourly case counts, and shipment tracking.
• Read and follow the production run plan and written or verbal instructions.
• Train and coach new and returning employees on assigned equipment and processes.
• Enforce GMP, food safety, company, and workplace safety policies.
• Monitor safe operation around extraction equipment, fillers, conveyors, stairs, and platforms.
• Report safety, harassment, attendance, employee, and operational issues to the supervisor.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED preferred, or equivalent education and experience.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, cold, and wet manufacturing environment.
• Ability to stand for extended periods, reach, bend, turn, climb stairs and platforms, and lift up to 50 pounds.
• Good vision, hand-eye coordination, mechanical aptitude, and ability to observe fast-moving conveyors.
• Clear verbal and written communication skills in English and availability to work evenings and weekends.
• Ability to work independently, perform basic math, collaborate with leads and supervisors, and follow safety procedures.

• Prior leadership experience.
• Bilingual Spanish and English communication skills.
