Manufacturing Technician IV, Lead - Inspection (Days) (Biomanufacturing)

Location: West Chester, Ohio, USA; onsite production-floor role. Work schedule: 12-hour days on a 2/2/3 schedule.

Salary: $26.00–$40.50 per hour, plus an annual cash bonus program.

What you will do

• Lead and monitor inspection activities on the production floor and provide floor coverage as needed.
• Perform inventory control and reconciliation using SAP and WES.
• Execute equipment qualification and process validation protocols.
• Review complex batch records and GMP documentation and guide technicians on documentation accuracy.
• Train team members as a certified on-the-job trainer and provide technical guidance on inspection equipment and processes.
• Support deviation investigations, CAPA execution, SOP revisions, Tier 1 meetings, and lean continuous-improvement initiatives.

Requirements

• Significant experience in pharmaceutical, biotechnology, or cGMP-regulated manufacturing, including inspection processes, equipment, documentation, and floor leadership.
• Mastery of visual defect detection and inspection accuracy across all handled material types.
• Strong organizational, analytical, prioritization, and problem-solving skills with the ability to make independent decisions.
• Ability to read, write, speak, and understand English to communicate technical information cross-functionally.
• Experience training peers or providing technical guidance in a fast-paced production environment.
• Sponsorship or support for work authorization, including visas, is not available.

Nice to have

• High school or vocational school graduation.
• Four or more years of pharmaceutical, biotechnology, or cGMP manufacturing experience and prior inspection experience.
• Experience with metrics tracking, process improvements, deviation investigations, qualification programs, or lean manufacturing.
• Working knowledge of Microsoft applications, SAP, or Veeva Vault.
