Cell Leader (Manufacturing)

Location: Fairport, NY, United States; onsite manufacturing environment

Salary: $20.34–$37.74 per hour

What you will do

• Schedule and prioritize production orders through manufacturing cells and distribute schedules and shop orders.
• Ensure required materials are available and handle shortages, rush orders, and special production issues.
• Review defect, quality, delivery, demand, and service-level data and take corrective action.
• Provide performance feedback, corrective actions for operator errors, and input for performance appraisals.
• Fill in for absent cell associates, support housekeeping and the 5S program, and coordinate vacation schedules.
• Maintain cell takt-time boards, prepare CS packages, support ISO compliance, and assist with associate training.

Requirements

• Experience with electrical panel assembly in a manufacturing environment.
• Manual dexterity and mechanical aptitude.
• Strong influence, collaboration, planning, and organizational skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
• Ability to operate a computer keyboard and work from blueprints, engineering drawings, and customer orders.
