Manufacturing Team Lead

Location: Overland Park, Kansas, USA

Salary: $26–$31 per hour, plus a target profit-sharing bonus of 10% and a 401(k) match of up to 8%.

What you will do

• Coordinate daily production schedules, workflow, staffing, and job priorities.
• Lead, train, and cross-train production employees while supporting hands-on production work.
• Monitor output, quality, scrap, yield, materials, and inventory levels.
• Ensure the availability of materials, tools, and supplies, and maintain accurate production and ERP records.
• Address safety, quality, staffing, and scheduling risks and escalate issues when needed.
• Partner with Planning, Quality, Engineering, Maintenance, and Stockroom teams on production and continuous-improvement activities.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED required; a related associate degree is preferred.
• Manufacturing or production experience required.
• Strong leadership, communication, organization, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work independently, make sound operational decisions, and perform hands-on production work.
• Knowledge of production processes, ERP transactions, Microsoft Office, Lean manufacturing, and 5S is preferred.
