Strategic Sourcing Manager (Facilities & Operations)

Location: Irvine, California, United States; hybrid schedule with 3 days onsite and 2 days remote per week

Salary: USD $116,000–$197,200 per year

What you will do

• Lead indirect strategic sourcing across Facilities and Operations spend categories.
• Develop short- and long-term category strategies aligned with business goals, value creation, cost reduction, and financial targets.
• Build and manage supplier relationships, including service levels, supplier scorecards, KPI reporting, risk management, sustainability, diversity, and innovation initiatives.
• Design and execute RFIs, RFQs, RFPs, bid events, supplier selection processes, and approval recommendations.
• Develop negotiation strategies, lead cross-functional negotiation teams, manage contracts, and resolve contractual disputes.
• Create and use a strategic sourcing playbook while researching market trends, benchmarks, and industry best practices.

Requirements

• Four-year college degree; Industrial Engineering, Supply Chain, or Economics is preferred.
• 7+ years of professional experience, including 5+ years in indirect strategic sourcing.
• Experience with facilities and operations categories, indirect spend optimization, cost reduction, process improvement, and supplier risk reduction.
• Expertise with RFI, RFQ, RFP, bid analysis, contract language, supplier negotiations, and global stakeholder collaboration.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, presentation, organization, and data summarization skills.
• Power-user proficiency in Excel and intermediate-to-advanced proficiency in Power BI, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
