Contracts Technician Associate (Healthcare Revenue Cycle)

Location: Remote within the United States; candidates must reside in and be authorized to work in the United States. Travel to and work onsite at client, temporary, or corporate office locations may be required based on business needs.

Salary: $46,900–$89,850 per year, based on experience.

What you will do

• Support insurance contract management, payer reimbursement interpretation, and contracted-rate analysis.
• Perform file balancing and daily maintenance of the contract management system.
• Track reimbursement rule updates, including Medicare OP, DRG, and managed care contract changes.
• Test contract builds before production release and audit completed builds for accuracy.
• Answer revenue cycle questions about reimbursement calculations generated by contract builds.
• Participate in training, knowledge-sharing, and collaboration with associates and leaders.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED.
• 2–4 years of healthcare industry experience related to payer reimbursement.
• Experience building hospital or physician insurance contracts.
• Managed care and revenue cycle management experience.
• Experience interpreting insurance contract language.
• Experience with contract management platforms related to reimbursement and contracted rates.
