Financial Analyst (LATAM)

Location: São Paulo, Brazil; hybrid work with office attendance three times per week

What you will do

• Support monthly revenue and commission close procedures by preparing journal entries, performing reconciliations, and ensuring compliance.
• Collaborate with internal departments to collect transaction information, investigate reconciling items, and resolve discrepancies.
• Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable, including payment schedules, collections, overdue invoice protests, and cash-flow consistency.
• Oversee invoicing through municipal platforms and NetSuite, including revenue-based tax calculations and tax types.
• Conduct bank reconciliations and maintain accurate account balances.
• Develop and implement financial policies to improve team efficiency.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business, Management, or a related field, completed or in progress.
• Up to two years of experience in a similar role, or recent-graduate status with a strong willingness to learn.
• Understanding of invoicing processes, taxation concepts, and accounting software.
• Advanced Microsoft Excel and/or Google Sheets skills.
• Advanced English proficiency required.
• Detail-oriented, organized, proactive, self-directed, and able to communicate with internal and external stakeholders in a fast-paced environment.

Nice to have

• Experience with SaaS companies.
• Spanish proficiency.
