Jr Analyst Accounting (MedTech)

Location: Hybrid role in São José dos Campos, São Paulo, Brazil

What you will do

• Support the preparation and review of statutory financial statements under Brazilian accounting standards.
• Analyze and document differences between US GAAP and BR GAAP.
• Perform balance sheet reconciliations and support month-end, quarter-end, and year-end closing.
• Participate in internal and external audits by preparing documentation, explanations, and follow-ups.
• Support statutory compliance, corporate accounting policies, internal controls, and SOX controls where applicable.
• Prepare accounting analyses, technical memos, management reports, and regulatory reporting schedules while contributing to process improvements.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting Sciences or Finance.
• 1–3 years of experience in accounting, financial reporting, or audit.
• Experience preparing or reviewing financial statements.
• Knowledge of Brazilian accounting standards and basic understanding of US GAAP.
• Knowledge of ERP systems, preferably SAP, and advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
• Ability to read, write, and speak English is required.

Nice to have

• CRC certification.
• Experience supporting external audits at PwC, EY, KPMG, Deloitte, or similar firms.
• Experience in a multinational environment or Shared Services Center.
