Process Engineer Cleaning & Coating / Day Shift (Semiconductor)

What you will do

• Develop, optimize, and manage cleaning and coating process steps in back-end semiconductor manufacturing for high-end optical components.
• Monitor daily process parameters using Statistical Process Control to maintain stability, quality, and yield.
• Troubleshoot process shifts and equipment issues in collaboration with maintenance and equipment engineering teams.
• Perform root cause analysis and lead continuous improvement projects to reduce waste and improve assembly-line efficiency.
• Support new product introductions by defining process parameters and qualifying new cleaning, coating, and surface-treatment technologies.
• Create and maintain Standard Operating Procedures and technical reports, and train operations staff on dicing fundamentals and safe equipment handling.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Chemistry, Materials Science, Physics, or a related technical field.
• 2–4 years of experience in a high-tech manufacturing environment; semiconductor assembly experience is valuable.
• Foundational knowledge of semiconductor or similar fabrication and assembly processes.
• Experience with coating or cleaning equipment.
• Familiarity with data analysis tools such as Minitab and basic knowledge of Design of Experiments and Lean Six Sigma.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, and hands-on skills, with attention to detail in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
