Production Group Manager

Location: Berlin, Germany; onsite at the Berlin manufacturing site

hirify.global manufactures key components for lithography systems, including optical components, assemblies, and systems made from glass, glass-ceramics, and ceramics.

What you will do

• Lead three team leads and approximately 20 employees both functionally and disciplinarily.
• Plan and manage daily, weekly, and long-term operational assembly processes and output targets.
• Ensure performance across quality, lead time, workplace safety, delivery reliability, and cost KPIs.
• Own scheduling, resource planning, workforce allocation, shift planning, vacation planning, qualification, and training coordination.
• Lead shopfloor and team meetings and maintain transparency in daily operations.
• Contribute to improvement initiatives, manufacturing ramp-up, industrialization topics, and NPI projects.

Requirements

• Completed advanced qualification as a technician or master craftsman, or a comparable qualification with relevant professional experience.
• At least five years of experience in production or assembly, ideally in shopfloor, shift, or ramp-up operations.
• Initial or several years of leadership experience managing teams or organizational units.
• Experience implementing improvements and developing assembly, logistics, or shopfloor processes.
• Proficiency in MS Office and experience with ERP systems such as SAP.
• Fluent German and good to very good English, written and spoken, are required.
