Specialist, Workforce Planning and KPI Management (Automotive)

Location: United States; based in Blythewood, South Carolina. Requires 4–5 days per week in the office, regular in-person meetings and occasional travel for company events.

Salary: $95,000–$120,000 annual base salary, plus eligibility for an annual performance bonus.

What you will do

• Develop and maintain workforce plans and staffing schedules based on production volume, logistics demand, shift coverage, and operational priorities.
• Analyze staffing levels, workload distribution, productivity, labor utilization, and coverage gaps to recommend resource and staffing adjustments.
• Define, monitor, and report logistics KPIs covering order fulfillment, inventory accuracy, delivery performance, cost efficiency, productivity, and labor utilization.
• Prepare recurring KPI reports and dashboards, presenting data-based insights, risks, and improvement opportunities to leadership.
• Evaluate personnel, equipment, and operational needs against business demand and support continuous improvement initiatives.
• Coordinate workforce planning and readiness metrics with Logistics, Operations, HR, Talent Acquisition, Training, and Safety stakeholders.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Supply Chain Management, Operations, Business Management, or a related field; equivalent relevant experience may substitute.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in workforce, production, logistics, project, or related planning functions, preferably in automotive manufacturing.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Experience with KPI planning, data input and analysis, reporting, and presenting performance insights.
• Strong understanding of production planning, scheduling, manufacturing environments, IT systems, and reporting tools.
• Ability to work onsite in Blythewood, South Carolina 4–5 days per week and travel occasionally for company events.
