Program Controls Analyst (Space and Defense)

Location: Hybrid work schedule in Buffalo, NY / East Aurora, NY

Salary: $80,000–$110,000 annually

What you will do

• Develop and maintain integrated program schedules, including dependencies, logic, and critical paths.
• Perform schedule analysis, progress measurement, and performance forecasting.
• Conduct cost variance analysis and Earned Value Management assessments.
• Consolidate schedule, cost, risk, and milestone data into accurate management reporting.
• Maintain and analyze RAID information and identify emerging risks and variances.
• Support governance standards and improve program controls processes, tools, and templates.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree and 5+ years of relevant professional experience.
• At least 1 year of Earned Value Management experience.
• Experience in project or program controls, planning, PMO, cost engineering, or a related analytical discipline.
• Proficiency with Power BI or similar visualization tools and strong numerical and data-interpretation skills.
• Scheduling and reporting tools such as MS Project or Deltek Open Plan are preferred.
• Ability to travel up to 5% as needed; the position requires access to U.S. export-controlled information.
