Project Controls Specialist

Location: Houston, Texas; onsite five days a week

Salary: $112,704–$169,056 per year

What you will do

• Develop, maintain, and update integrated project schedules for balance of plant scope.
• Coordinate engineering, procurement, construction, project management, and discipline teams across multiple workstreams.
• Track budgets, commitments, actual costs, forecasts, cash flow, and estimate-to-complete data.
• Establish progress measurement systems and produce biweekly and monthly reports with progress curves, earned value metrics, and variance analysis.
• Maintain risk registers, support schedule and cost risk analysis, and track mitigation actions.
• Evaluate change orders and scope growth, including their schedule and cost impacts.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or 3–5 years of experience in cost control, project planning, or material planning.
• Experience in a manufacturing or project-based environment is preferred.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, including root cause analysis and corrective action.
• Well-developed interpersonal skills for handling sensitive issues, developing others, and reaching consensus.
• Must be able to work onsite in Houston five days per week.
