Project Controls Manager (Life Sciences)

Salary: USD 130,000–175,000 per year

What you will do

• Lead project controls across design-phase and construction-phase projects.
• Develop and maintain project budgets, cost-loaded schedules, cash flow forecasts, and performance reports.
• Support design-phase cost modeling, schedule development, scope validation, baseline development, and progress measurement.
• Manage design and construction change processes, including trend logs, estimates, and impact analysis.
• Identify cost, schedule, and execution risks and develop mitigation strategies.
• Collaborate with estimating, procurement, contracting, engineering, construction, leadership, and clients while mentoring project controls staff.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, construction management, or a related field.
• At least 10 years of experience in project controls, cost management, or project management within construction, EPC, or design-build environments.
• Experience supporting GMP-regulated or highly technical life sciences design and construction projects.
• Experience across both design and construction phases, including design-build, integrated EPC, or engineer-led delivery models.
• Strong knowledge of cost control, scheduling, forecasting, earned value management, Excel, and project controls software; Primavera P6 or similar experience is required.
• Strong financial analysis, communication, collaboration, and leadership skills in technically complex project environments.
