Director, Compliance

Location: Denver, CO, United States

Salary: $111,000–$140,000 annually, plus bonus eligibility based on individual and company performance.

What you will do

• Lead the day-to-day Corporate Compliance Program in alignment with Federal Sentencing Guidelines and applicable state and industry requirements.
• Develop and maintain compliance policies, procedures, education programs, audit tools, and internal controls.
• Build scalable processes to identify, prevent, and mitigate fraud, waste, abuse, and non-compliance.
• Partner with operational leaders on compliance issues, corrective action plans, remediation, and accountability.
• Establish KPIs, standardize processes, manage budgets, and lead change-management initiatives.
• Coach and develop compliance leaders while building relationships with internal and external stakeholders.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree preferred; a Master of Accounting or MBA is a plus.
• 12 or more years of corporate compliance experience and 5 or more years of leadership experience.
• Strong knowledge of corporate compliance, risk management, internal controls, and audit requirements.
• Knowledge of IT controls, information security, COSO, and SOX 404 requirements.
• Strong leadership, communication, presentation, and stakeholder-management skills.
• Advanced Excel and Microsoft Office experience.

Nice to have

• Experience with Workiva, AuditBoard, Workday, Dynamics, Great Plains, or BlackLine.
• ISO, Lean Six Sigma, CPA, CIA, or CISA certification.
