Director, Specialty Compliance and Ethics - AI Governance

Location: Bentonville, Arkansas, United States; onsite at the Bentonville Home Office

Annual salary: $110,000–$220,000, plus performance-based bonuses and potential stock compensation.

What you will do

• Lead compliance strategies and technology solutions for responsible AI governance across the AI system lifecycle.
• Design risk identification approaches, technical controls, guardrails, and responsible AI tools with engineering teams.
• Build scalable processes for compliance monitoring, testing, and operational consistency.
• Define performance metrics and coordinate policy, training, technology design, and deployment initiatives.
• Communicate AI governance compliance strategies and impact analyses to senior management and cross-functional stakeholders.
• Promote ethical standards, integrity, accountability, and continuous improvement across programs.

Requirements

• Extensive experience enabling compliance programs through technology, managing compliance and regulatory requirements, and conducting risk management in complex organizations.
• Proven ability to develop, implement, and improve policies, procedures, and internal controls.
• Strong technical acumen, including familiarity with technology solutions, DevOps, and AIOps.
• Experience with compliance auditing, gap analysis, and change management for emerging risks.
• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Human Resources, or a related field plus 5 years of relevant experience, or 7 years of relevant experience without the degree requirement.
• At least 3 years of supervisory experience and 4 years of experience using intermediate Microsoft Office functionality.
