Manufacturing Product Deburring / Finishing Operator (Aerospace)

hirify.global’s Military Aircraft Group designs and integrates primary and secondary flight control actuation systems for military aircraft, including the F-35 Lightning II and V280 Valor.

What you will do

• Perform bench and machine operations to clean, polish, deburr, break edges, form radii, blend defects, and remove contamination, excess material, and flash.
• Work from operation sheets, blueprints, sketches, and plastic bodies to plan the complete work sequence.
• Select, sharpen, and make special tooling, and select lighting aids, inspection gages, and visual magnification as needed.
• Finish and detail small parts while maintaining required quality and quantity standards.
• Visually inspect completed work, identify abnormalities, and respond to material or workmanship defects.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED preferred, or the ability to understand and apply verbal, written, and computer-based instructions and perform basic arithmetic.
• Ability to read and follow work instructions in English.
• At least three months of deburring or finishing experience in an aerospace machine shop environment preferred.
• Fine motor skills, excellent visual acuity, strong eye-hand coordination, and exceptional attention to detail.
• Basic computer skills, including Windows, Word, and Outlook.
• Ability to work onsite in Torrance, California.
