Fab Mechanic - Trim Cut (Aerospace)

Location: Laconia, New Hampshire, United States; onsite fabrication role

STS Aerospace, part of hirify.global, manufactures aerospace components and tube assemblies for hydraulic, fuel, pneumatic, waste, and exhaust installations.

What you will do

• Fabricate rigid and flexible metal tubing through cutting, grinding, forming, deburring, cleaning, swaging, and polishing.
• Perform visual and dimensional inspections of materials, tube details, components, assemblies, and finished products.
• Read and interpret blueprints, method sheets, process sheets, policies, and procedures.
• Set up and operate abrasive, squaring, deburring, sizing, and swaging equipment.
• Assemble, install, salvage, and repair tube assemblies, fixtures, equipment, and products.
• Maintain accurate mylar fixtures and prepare components to cosmetic and dimensional specifications.

Requirements

• High school diploma, GED, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• One to three months of related experience or training is acceptable.
• Ability to read blueprints and follow manufacturing instructions and operating procedures.
• Ability to frequently lift or move up to 10 pounds and occasionally lift or move up to 25 pounds.
• Consistent, regular, and punctual attendance is required.
